Recording key

Trip Meter shows where you are, how fast you are moving, which way you are heading and how high you are — with no phone, no cell signal and no internet — just GPS. That part is free and always will be.

This page is only for the recording key, which unlocks saving your journey as a Garmin activity (a FIT file) so it appears in Garmin Connect alongside everything else.

One key unlocks one watch, for as long as that watch lasts. It is a one-time purchase — no subscription, nothing to renew.

How it works

  1. Buy above.
  2. After payment you are taken to the key page, with your licence key already filled in.
  3. Check the Device ID and press Show my key. If you scanned the code on your watch, the ID is filled in for you; otherwise type it from the unlock screen.
  4. Copy the key into Trip Meter's settings in the Connect IQ app on your phone.

There is no email to wait for. Your receipt also carries the licence key — keep it, and you can come back to the key page at any time and get the same watch key again.

If you opened this page without scanning the code on your watch, you type the Device ID on the key page. It is printed under the code on the unlock screen.

Before you buy

Refunds

The key is issued the moment you pay and cannot be revoked, so sales are final. If a key does not work, that is a fault and it will be fixed or refunded.

If you mistype the Device ID, your purchase allows a few attempts — press Fix the Device ID on the key page and enter the right one. If you run out, write to support@maldivesapps.com and it will be reset at no charge.
